Graduate students: Background in experimental physics would be helpful but not necessarily required. Prospective PhD students who want to obtain following skill sets are encouraged to apply for the positions: 

• chip-scale nonlinear and quantum optics, 
• advanced nano-fabrications, numerical simulations, and photonic inverse design, 
• photonic foundry tape-out (e.g. silicon nitride, lithium niobate, III-V lasers)
